Welcome to the dogs section of our site.

We care for dogs of all breeds and sizes (excluding aggressive dogs and those named on the banned breeds list).  It is preferred that dogs are house trained.  However, if you do have a dog that is prone to the odd little accident, we're happy to care for them as long as we're informed at the start of their stay.  This allows us to prepare.  We understand that older dogs can have weaker bowels and bladders and we are more than happy to accept them in our home.  

Dogs are both walked and exercised daily, as little or as often as required.  We try and keep the same routine that they would have at home with yourselves.  

Alongside the walks, dogs will have access to the garden where they can play.  Unlike boarding kennels, we are able to give more attention to dogs in our care due to our limited numbers.

You will notice that there is an outdoor kennel in our garden.  Please note, this is NOT for dogs to sleep in overnight.  We use it as a shaded and sheltered area for dogs to go during the day in warm or wet weather if they wish.   The door will remain open, unless we need to secure the dogs temporarily whilst we clean the garden.  This would be a maximum of 30 minutes if needed, but we try and keep the dogs indoors whilst cleaning.

If you have a dog that usually sleeps in an outdoor kennel overnight, unfortunately we won't be able to board them outside.  For security, all boarded dogs are required to sleep in the family home overnight.
